Growing food, hope, and community

Since 2011, GrowGood has been providing food, transitional employment, job training, and mindfulness-based ecotherapy programs for individuals experiencing homelessness.

GrowGood operates a 1.5-acre urban regenerative farm located in Southeast Los Angeles adjacent to The Salvation Army’s Bell Shelter, the largest homeless shelter in the Western US.

GrowGood’s Bell Farm features a ½-acre of vegetable crops, an orchard with 70 fruit trees, an herb and healing garden, a commercial greenhouse, and community gathering spaces.

GrowGood has created holistic nature-based programming purposefully designed to address the grave challenges faced by individuals who are experiencing homelessness by assisting them along the path to stability and self-sufficiency.
