Have you ever wondered what all the hype is about hydroponics? Well, now is your chance to learn all about it!
Led by our Hydroponics Expert, Gregg De La Rosa, this workshop will cover the following:
Learn about the different methods of hydroponic growing
Get hands-on experience in building and maintaining a commercial-sized system
Build your own Kratky method hydroponics planter for your own GrowGood seedling
All materials and supplies are included (including a Kratky method hydroponics planter and seedlings).

Natural Dye Workshop: Saturday Feb 24, 2024
Learn about the wonders of making and using natural dye for your creative dye projects!
Using marigold and cochineal from the GrowGood farm, you will learn how to make natural dye, learn folding techniques, and dye 2 tea towels that you will take home.
Taught by GrowGood’s resident Food for Life Art Instructor and experienced artist, Kara Sonwell.
Held in the natural setting of GrowGood's Urban Farm located in Bell (Southeast Los Angeles), your participation in this workshop supports our programs which include: food distribution, jobs and skills training for individuals with barriers to employment, and nature-based mindfulness programs.
